Now this sounds like brilliant fun. The annual Duck Race & Family Fun Day is being held this Sunday between 11am and 4pm at Bramhall Park SK7 3NX (entry is free).
You can get there by riding the Duck Bus that shuttles between Bramhall Village (outside Pizza Express) and the park.
There is a full programme of entertainment planned, with bands, choirs, dancers and singers taking to the several stages, as well as a bouncy castle, craft stalls, games and Shetland pony rides.
The Duck Races are timetabled below (including which local businesses are sponsoring them). There will be a tote betting system at £1.00 per betting slip:

At 2pm expect much huffing and puffing and good-humoured local competition as the Tug-of-War between community websites I Love Bramhall and I Love Cheadle Hulme takes place. And before that there is the Great Bramhall Bake-Off at 12pm and School Choir Competition at 1pm.
The event is organised by Bramhall & Woodford Rotary Club and be will raising funds for Francis House Children’s Hospice in Didsbury.
