This year sees the third Geronimo Festival, taking place at Arley Hall, close to Knutsford and Northwich.
The big family-friendly festival will run over three days from 27 to 29 May, and is offering camping and glamping for the first time.
Described as ‘Glasto for Kids’ (by the Daily Mirror), Geronimo is packed with loads to do and see for parents and children of all ages, and is a good opportunity to get away as a family or with friends over the late May Bank Holiday weekend.
So how do you get Festival ready? Here are a couple of top tips from our friends at the Geronimo Festival:
Plan Your Activities
Without a plan you’ll be wondering what to do or see first. There are 12 zones at Geronimo, each designed to entertain children of different ages with unique and engaging activities, so planning how you are all going to spend your time is essential.
Bring Wet Weather Gear
Just in case it rains, make sure you bring wellies, ponchos, waterproofs and plenty of dry clothes. Parents are extremely organised and usually do this even when heading to the park, and most festival-goers pack for every eventuality. Geronimo offers plenty of covered space, with two huge Circus tents and much more, where you will all be entertained whilst sheltering from the rain (or taking a break from the baking hot sunshine – fingers crossed).
