There aren’t many places that invite you to ‘bring your pet along to be blessed’! But Tatton Park in Knutsford does just that, for its Harvest Festival celebration this weekend.
The farm is welcoming visitors to celebrate the autumn harvest, on 16 to 17 September between 12pm and 5pm (last entry 4pm). Children can try spinning and make their own scarecrows, see the steam engine running, see wood-turning demos and enjoy watching the sheep racing. Tatton has a lovely cafe and an amazingly massive outdoor play area too.
Harvest Festival is a time traditionally given to give thanks for our blessings. There will be a blessing at Tatton Park at 2pm each day, accompanied by Preston Brook brass band … and yes, pets are invited.
