Rugbytots is a rugby play programme for young boys and girls. It started in 2006 when founder Max Webb – a keen rugby player – tried to find a rugby class for his three children. He discovered that there was nothing available, decided to do something about it, and Rugbytots was born! Since then the business has grown enormously through its franchise model – in the UK there are over 2,500 classes per week, and there are 40,000 children in 16 different countries around the world taking part. That’s pretty impressive.
Rugbytots classes are fun, structured play sessions, designed to build confidence, encourage teamwork and develop social skills. Children learn how to catch, pass, kick, run with a ball and play as part of a team; they also learn about shapes, colours and numbers while they are playing. With energy and enthusiasm, the specially trained coaches deliver classes developed specifically for each age group: 2 – 3.5, 3 – 5 and 5 – 7 years.
For Little Tigers readers, the nearest Rugbytots sessions are in Macclesfield (Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays), Congleton (Tuesdays), Poynton (Fridays) and near Alderley Edge (Mondays). To get in touch with Alick, the coach, call 0345 313 6720 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
