There is a fundraising obstacle course for dogs (age 1+) and their owners (age 8+) this Sunday, 30 September, at Capesthorne Hall in Macclesfield, from 10am.
The 5km Tough Woofer course features 15 climbing, water and mud challenges for the sporty dogs to attempt, and is part of the East Cheshire Hospice 30th birthday celebrations in 2018.
There will also be stalls selling dog treats, a mini-agility course, a doggy shower for muddy paws, dog-treats for the pooches that completed the course and dog pampering sessions. There will also be food and drink available for the human participants and spectators.
Online registration for participants is now closed, but it may be possible to register to take part on the day, depending on how many people have already booked in advance. The organisers are expecting plenty of spectators to come and watch too, as it promises to be a fun day out for all the family.
The dogs and their owners will set off along the Tough Woofer course in 10 minute waves between 10am and 4pm, and participants are asked to raise at least £30 for East Cheshire Hospice.
