A LITTLE HISTORY

When this magazine was founded in 2001, there was very little information about things to do and places to go with babies and young children. Nowadays, the opposite is true – an online search produces too much information and it can be hard to sift through it and find what you really need. Little Tigers is here to help you make sense of some of it, with independently researched and well-written articles, events, listings and ideas in print and online.

Alison Stodolnic started Little Tigers in 2001 (when she had a baby and was pregnant with her second), and ran it until 2007. Between 2007 and 2016 Dany Whittaker and Tiffany Henry owned, ran and expanded Little Tigers. In 2016, the business went full circle and passed back to Alison, who is now the owner and editor again; she continues to be supported by the magazine’s fantastic network of local suppliers, freelancers and distributors.
