Little Tigers Magazine aims to be fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) rules, effective from 25 May 2018.
We only collect essential information relating to the organisations and people we deal with in our magazine publishing business: name, email address, website, phone number(s), and basic information about roles and responsibilities if needed. This is to enable us to provide our contacts with a good level of service, to communicate effectively, and to process documentation relating to editorial, advertising, distribution and payments where applicable. We do not collect or store any personal data other than that which is necessary for us to carry on our publishing and marketing activities.
We store the data we have about you on our business computers, which are protected by a NordVPN firewall, and backed up on Dropbox. We also store data about you on printed emails in a secure office location, and externally on Dropbox and Constant Contact (a secure CRM system and email marketing provider). Third-party service providers do not share the data we have about you, or use it for their own marketing purposes. We do not share your personal data with any other organisation. We are required under UK tax law to keep the personal data we have about you for a minimum of 6 years. Data that we use for the purposes of marketing communications will be kept until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive these communications.
From time to time, we produce and distribute marketing emails. This enables us to inform our contacts that a magazine has been published, to ask for editorial contributions, or to invite advertising bookings. We send marketing emails only to people and organisations who are relevant to our business and with whom we have recently communicated, or people who have subscribed. Recipients can unsubscribe at any time, and will not receive any further emails from us.
