Alderley Day Nursery is a newly established Montessori Nursery offering exceptional standards in Childcare and Pre-School Education. Developed by a dedicated team who are passionate about maximising children's potential, every detail has been carefully considered in order to create a positive and caring environment, full of exciting activities designed to unleash a child's natural ability for spontaneous learning.
Accommodating up to 62 children from the ages of 0-5 years, the setting benefits from a single storey, purpose built, indoor nursery and an expansive outdoor space. Our aim is to use the outside as an extension of the indoor environment, allowing children to gain first hand experiences of their natural world during this pivotal period in their development.
The Montessori approach to learning was developed by Dr Maria Montessori through years of observation and practice. Built on a deep respect for the child and an appreciation of the special learning abilities a child has during the first 6 years of life, focus is placed on the creation of an environment rich in activities, allowing the child to teach themselves with support and guidance from knowledgeable adults.
From the varied use of outdoor space to the delivery of extra curricular activities such as Music and French language, we aim to provide a wide breadth of rewarding experiences to ensure children are well prepared for their next step into conventional schooling.
