Description
Baby reflexology is a gentle form of reflexology adapted especially for babies, from one month old to walking age. There are many benefits of giving reflexology to your baby. If you have experienced a traumatic birth, baby reflexology can help to develop and enhance a natural loving bond between parent and child. Many parents find baby reflexology especially helpful in the first few months of their babies' life as it can help to calm, soothe and improve the baby's sleep patterns. Baby Reflexology also helps to improve digestive issues such as wind, colic and reflux.
Baby reflexology is taught by Gabby Lamplugh, BA (Hons), GJC (Dip. Reflex), MAR who is a qualified reflexologist and specialises in baby, fertility and maternity reflexology. There are three, weekly, hour long classes where parents are taught how to use the special, gentle techniques. This soothing form of fingertip and thumb pressure on babies' feet has been specially created for parents to give to their child. Parents can adjust the treatment to suit their own child's needs. After each weekly class, tea, coffee and cakes are provided to give parents an opportunity to chat and swap notes.
A great benefit of baby reflexology is that once you have learnt the techniques, you can carry out a fuss-free five minute treatment at any time or location, in a cafe, on a bus, or even in a supermarket queue!
Classes are held at Wilmslow Library on Thursdays, 11am-12.30pm and 12.30pm - 2.00pm. For more information and to book your place, please call Gabby Lamplugh on 07817 597288 or 01625 526800 www.gabbylamplughreflexology.co.uk
