Chapel Grange Montessori Nursery School has been open in Wilmslow since October 1996, offering full and part time places for up to 28 children. It has an excellent reputation for providing care and education in a warm, friendly and professional environment. We continually strive to develop the setting further, through the implementation of new initiatives.We recognise and value both the indoor and outdoor environments as places where children can learn, we therefore plan and implement activities and provide resources to stimulate and develop the children's interests. Children learn through hands on experience, investigation and questioning, they are encouraged to be actively involved in their learning, not passively fed information. we aim to facilitate a child's independent discovery, rather than giving instruction. Children at Chapel Grange are not afraid of making mistakes. They are encouraged to see them as natural steps in the learning process. our culture of self-correction leads to a healthy enjoyment of challenges and sense of perseverance. Our aim is to have your children leave us for 'big' school as happy, confident children who have a love of learning.
