Little Maestros is a new and fun way to introduce your child into the world of music providing a range of age specific classes for ages 0-5 designed to contribute to the learning and development of your child across all areas of learning. Children who are actively involved in music, singing and dancing from an early age also tend to have confidence, high self esteem and are better at interacting with others! The Classes are run by Bethan Carter, an experienced childcare practitioner with a foundation degree in Early years and a strong knowledge and background in music.
Our Classes involve.....
singing and playing instruments (chanting, singing, and playing age appropriate instruments), creating music (improvising songs and rhymes and short pieces of music), provide opportunities for the exploration of musical equipment, and to engage in plenty of diverse, stimulating musical activities. responding to music through movement, understanding music (describing music and demonstrating their awareness musical elements).
In order to keep our classes fun and exciting we introduce a new theme each week through the use of visual aids, fun action songs, simple percussion instruments, games and nursery rhymes, designed to maintain even the youngest child's attention.
