The holistic Birthing Centre is an independent, community based facility that provides bespoke maternity services to women looking for low tech midwifery led care. Our practice philosophy is based on a commitment to pregnancy and birth as normal life events. Continuity of care and a woman's right of choice are at the very heart of our professional ethos, whilst working in partnership with each client and her family to meet their individual needs

 

 

The practice is run by a team of independent case loading midwives who have absolute faith in the birth process and actively encourage natural ways to achieve a gentle, positive birth experience at home, the Birth Centre or in hospital. As specialists in normal pregnancy and childbirth we believe that individualised holistic midwifery care and the provision of excellence are achievable aims; which inspired us to create this wonderful facility for new parents.

 

 

The centre has been designed to provide an intimate, comfortable and safe sanctuary where you can labour privately with the support of your birth partner(s) and a midwife with whom you have established a trusting relationship. This offers you real choices in pregnancy and childbirth, as well as a wide range of complementary therapies to enhance your experience.
